shorty blob bud vase
from my series of organic hand-built vases with multiple openings, this shorty blob is hand-built in porcelain, then an experiment in colored underglaze sgraffito pattern in combination with a colored glaze over it - (antique jade over a turquoise underglaze, with pear celadon glaze interior).
some folks tell me these blob vases remind them of coral & that is unintentional but I love it!
not really intended for food but the glazes are all food / dishwasher / oven safe, made in Iowa.
